Ett dataintrång kan lamslå hela Sveriges elförsörjning. När IT-system alltmer kopplas samman för att effektivisera styrning och övervakning kan elnäten samtidigt bli mer sårbara. Därför sätter industrin och akademin nu tillsammans säkerheten i fokus inom EU-projektet Viking. 

Prosthetic Awareness
People who have lost a body part such as an arm or a leg can still feel the part of the body as if it still existed. Medical scientists have used this knowledge to design prosthetic body parts that move in response to thoughts, to help individuals in their everyday lives. Multidisciplinary research on synthetic molecular biology is, in parts, an unexplored area with considerable potential for future research.
